It's no secret that Manchester City is in big trouble. They have broken the rule for how much money you can spend. The owner of Man City, Abu Dhabi royal Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has paid one of the sponsors money to put that much into the deal. That means that they have said money to spend on the team. Everton recently did something like this on accident and admitted it, and still received heavy regulation. If this is what Everton got, Man City should have it 100x worse. They will probably be relegated to the EFL championship league.
Hearing this news, the Saudi league fires a red-hot offer at the great. They offered 1 million pounds a week. De Brunye has a 375,000-pound deal with Manchester City currently, but it expires in 18 weeks. Manchester City wants to reward Kevin De Bruyne for his loyalty by offering the master midfielder a contract extension. City is planning to strike a deal that will take him to the summer of 2026 - and take him beyond a decade of service. If I was De Brunye, I would ask for an offer of 500,000 a week, plus a release clause if they got relegated to the championship league, he could look for a different team.
De Bruyne could earn 1 million-a-week by jumping on the Saudi Pro League bandwagon. But the 33-year-old Belgian loves life at Manchester City and his three young children call Manchester home. If this transfer went through, this could change the world of soccer.
